This course explains psychological issues related with childhood and youth to help students understand the developmental characteristics and have their own views for education.

Lesson 2 Theories of development: Piaget's theory
Lesson 3 Relation between adults and children :From a infant to school-aged child
Lesson 4 Consider relation between children and adults
Lesson 5 Adolescent development: Establishing an identity
Lesson 6 Adolescent development: Sense of self and self-concept
Lesson 7 Significance of friendship in child development
Lesson 8 Physical, social and cognitive issues
Lesson 9 Theories of learning: Behavioral psychology and cognitive psychology
Lesson 9 Theories of learning: Situated learning
Lesson 11 Socio-cultural approach
Lesson 12 Active, interactive, and real learning
Lesson 13 Learning of reading and writing

In Lesson 1, Orientation is held to explain the procedure of the course.
Please read the relevant chapter in the textbook which covers the contents of the lesson before attending each lesson. 
Grading Method In each lecture, a report of task is assigned.
A final exam will be conducted.
We evaluate in assignment report (50%) and final exam (50%).
