/Class Outline
The purpose of this seminar is to leran important theories and methods necessary for the study of German literary texts.  
Class Schedule The seminar consists of 2 parts.
(1) Narrative analysis 
(2) Literary theories
In the first half of the course we learn No. (1), in the second half No. (2). We use a German textbook.
1 Introduction
2-8  Narrative analysis
9-15 Literary theories

Students should write a paper at the end of the semester.
