To learn the basics of landscape archaeology, to know its research methods, history and theory, to know the current situation of research and examples from abroad and Japan, and to know the potential and diversity of landscape archaeology.

Requirements Students specialising in archaeology, especially those who are considering further archaeological studies at postgraduate level, are encouraged to take the course as much as possible.
