In this Class students will join an archeological fieldwork in archaeological sites, learn about the method of finding remains and handling archeological finds under directon of trained teachers. |

Class 1; We provides students with concrete understanding the outline of this excavation. Class 2; Explanation of various archeological materials for understanding the archeological site to be excavated. Class 3; Making a brochure about research achievement of the site to be excavated, and presentation about it . We have a meeting for tommorow’s excavation after field work in a site or lodging house every evening. |
Requirements |
Students majoring in archaeology only can be accepted in this class for it’s highly-professional specialty. You have to take all practice of “Field Practice in Archeology (A, B, C)” in your all semesters. |
Grading Method |
Practical fieldwork in the site (80%), and report point (20%). |

Work experience. Based on the excavation procedure permitted by the Hiroshima Prefectural Board of Education and so on, we will conduct practical training classes on archaeological site surveys by archaeological research work experience and survey report preparation experience. |
