Through an examination of the history of sulfur production and distribution in the Japanese archipelago from the 10th to 16th centuries, students will understand the historical linkage between the history of Japan and the history of Asia. |

lesson7-9 Read the historical documents and research books related to the Japan-Ming trade that will be introduced in class.
lesson10-11：Read the historical documents and research books related to the Japan- Joseon / Ryukyu trade that will be introduced in class.
lesson12-14：Read the historical materials and research books related to sulfur distribution in various parts of Asia that will be presented in class.
