Suggestions on Preparation and Review |
Lesson 1: Students are required to investigate what philosophy is by themselves. Lesson 2-5: Review the characteristics of the importation of foreign academic culture in Japan, especially in the end of the Edo period and the Meiji period. Lesson 6: Review the historical background of Western thought imported from the late Meiji and Taisho periods. Lesson 7-14: Review to grasp the merits and demerits of each philosopher's position on the topics to be covered. Lesson 15: Review to understand the organic linkage of the entire class and prepare for the final examination. |
