Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This class focuses on sleep-wake habits of university students and aims to promote abilities to discover problems of sleep and to propose plans to solve them. Based on sleep logs of both university students and your own, you will discuss with other students and write the papers about the problems and its solution. |

You have to submit 3 papers. Two papers are based on sleep logs of two university students (Lesson 2 and 5), and one is those of your own (Lesson 6 and 7). |

Lesson 1: Refer to specialized book and consider cause of sleep problems and its solution. Lesson 2: Refer to the peer reviews by other students and rewrite your paper. Requirements |
Registration: Only the students who attend the first seminar (Lesson 1) can register for a course of this class, because the students will be divided into some groups (group size is 4 to 6 students) in the first seminar. Prerequisite: You must record your sleep logs for 2 weeks, and discuss your sleep problems with other students based on its logs. |
Grading Method |
Two papers about sleep problems of two university students (2 x 20%), a paper about sleep problems of your own (40%) and attitude towards group study (20%). |
