This lecture will provide basic knowledge on social psychology. 
Class Schedule lesson1: What is Social Psychology? Basic theories and research methods
lesson2: Mechanisms of interpersonal cognition/ Stereotype and Prejudice
lesson3: Social reasoning
lesson4: Function of the self
lesson5: Theories of interpersonal relations
lesson6: Mechanism of attitudinal and behavioral change  
lesson7: The dark side of group behavior
lesson8: Summary and final examination

Final examination will be conducted.

1. Learn what social psychology aims for and how it conducts researches.
2-3.  Understand how the people perceive the social phenomena. 
4.  Understand constructions and  functions of self.
5.  Understand positive and negative functions of interpersonal relations.
6.  Understand processes and factors of influencing people.  
7.  Learn the positive and negative side of group or collective behavior.


 
Requirements Occasionally, psychological research or experiments will be introduced in the class. Some times, we may ask you to participate. If you can, please cooperate; it will greatly help you understand the lectures, too. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
