Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In this class, we would like to think together about the origin of the difficulties of living in today's society. The tendency towards individualization, which sees the difficulty of living as an individual problem, leads to its eventual medicalization such as 'depression'. As clues to rethinking the problem of depression from a social and cultural perspective rather than as an individual pathology, we will focus on two texts on education and labor.  Through the reading of these texts and group discussions, the aim of this class is to understand how the society in which you live in is embedded in the system and to search together for a way out of it.
