Students are required to read the articles in the list of reading assignments before classes begin, and also to make presentations on papers in the list.  Occasionally, audiovisual equipments will be also used.

Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course examines migration phenomenon through critical reading of relevant anthropological works. Most of the reading materials are in Japanese, however, some significant works in English will also be read. The goal of this course is to provide students with theoretical and methodological tools regarding social anthropology of migration.
