Learn the basic techniques and knowledge of various oceanographic studies, such as marine physics, chemistry, biology, geology, and geography, by participating in a two-day sea cruise on board Hiroshima University’s research ship, Toyoshio-maru.  
Class Schedule Preliminary Lecture:
Lecture on oceanography (Takeda)
Lecture on marine chemistry (Iwamoto)
Lecture on the collection and analytical methods of marine samples (Takeda)
Exercise involving sample collection and analytical instruments (Takeda, Iwamoto)

Cruse, Day 1:
Fire drill, emergency training (Takeda, Iwamoto, cruise officer)

This year's cruise is planned for 3rd–4th August, 2024 in the Seto Inland Sea, on board the Toyoshio-Maru, Faculty of Applied Biological Science, Hiroshima University.
An instruction will be held in May-June, and a lecture will be held in July-August.
