To achieve this goal, in each session students will practice reading aloud and listening comprehension. In each session, after learning the new material, students will memorize the sample dialogs and read them aloud from memory. Students will also work on vocabulary and sentence patterns, and will practice writing short essays and composing their own dialogs making use of the language learned. The last five minutes of each class will be a question and answer session. In one session, students will watch a video of a Chinese film and then discuss it, in Chinese.
