Classes will be held face-to-face. From the third class onward, students will be required to watch the designated video before class. The class format is a flipped classroom, and during the class, students will check their knowledge with each other, question and answer, and take quizzes, as well as receive explanations and supplementary explanations from the professor.

This is a basic sports science course to understand the effects of aging, disease, and improper lifestyle on health and disability.

Focusing on the disabilities in physical and mental functions and disorders caused by aging, disease, and inappropriate lifestyle habits, students learn about the mechanisms, evaluation methods, and training methods. The goal is to acquire the basic knowledge and skills needed to provide exercise guidance in the community.

Lesson 4: Physical characteristics of aging - Changes in the respiratory and circulatory systems
Lesson 5: Physical reactions in training - Muscular strength and endurance 1
Lesson 6: Physical reactions in training - Muscular strength and endurance 2
Lesson 7: Physical reactions in training - Cardiopulmonary function
Lesson 8: Physical reactions in training - Cognitive function
Lesson 9: Characteristics and risk management of diseases in the elderly - Bone and joint diseases
