This course offers lectures on research methodologies and techniques that afford the practical analysis of human behavior. Laboratory Work in Behavioral Sciences B is based on the knowledge acquired in this course.

Preparation and

1. Research methodology (Lesson 2 – 4)
Learn how to conduct research using the questionnaires, recognizing both the advantages and disadvantages of this approach.
2. Developing questionnaires (Lesson 5 – 8)
Learn how to use the data acquired from the questionnaires and how to develop a dataset.
3. Data analysis (Lesson 9 – 10)
Learn various methodologies and characteristics of data analysis that serve for different purposes and hypotheses.
4. Writing a report (Lesson 11)
Learn how to create graphs and charts that describe the results of the analysis and the necessary perspectives to consider.
5. Presentation of research results (Lesson 12-14)
Learn how to demonstrate your information through a presentation. 
Requirements (1) This course is a co-requisite for “Laboratory Work in Psychology B,” and includes accompanying lectures.
(2) This course is a pre-requisite if you are conducting your graduate research in Behavioral Sciences Program
(3) “Experimental Methods in Psychology,” “Fundamental Laboratory Work in Behavioral Sciences,” and “Practicum in Behavioral Sciences” are pre-requisites for this course.
 
Grading Method (1) Reports 50% and attendance 50%.
(2) Evaluation for this course is given in conjunction with “Laboratory Work in Psychology B.” Therefore, failure to register for “Laboratory Work in Psychology B” will result in the evaluation “Z” (absence).
