This course is designed as an introductory to intermediate level lecture course to provide students with the knowledge (particularly in cognitive psychology) to conduct psychological and behavioural research.

Class Objectives
1) Acquire an understanding of the basics of cognitive psychology.
2) Understand how we measure intangible psychological concepts.

Class Outline
Cognitive Psychology is the study of the software of the mind. As with all other software, the mind contains logical processes and, of course, edge cases and bugs. In this class, I will use demonstrations to show you these processes, and we will then use group discussions to discover how they work.
