Course Overview: The course aims to cultivate participants’ ability to design and conduct qualitative research in developing countries setting.
Achievement Goals:
1.Participant is able to explain to others about the main/basic ideas/concepts of qualitative research methods.
2.Participant is able to execute qualitative interview, analysis and writing up qualitative research reports. |

Session 3,4,5,6, 7 and 8:All students will be required to do the “essential reading” and presentation of the text. In addition, all students will be given responsibility for writing a brief memo summarizing points and questions in reading. |
履修上の注意
受講条件等 |
This course welcomes students who will conduct qualitative research and who have high level of commitment. Moreover, the number of students will be strictly limited to 16 students to maintain the effectiveness of the course. |
