International Students who are taking this course are required to have acquired “Advanced level (level 4 or 5)” or "Intermediate level (Level 3) " of Japanese language proficiency”. (If your Japanese is Level 1 or 2, please consult the lecturer.)
 Students are required to register for "Glocal Internship I: Intercultural Competence in Japanese Society" together in Fall Semester. 「グローカル・インターンシップI : 日本社会における異文化間能力」（basic course）を秋学期に同時に受講していること。Students are required to have registered for the ‘HUSA Internship I: Career Theory and Practice’ offered in fall semester.

授業の目標・概要等 1) 日本語・日本社会に関する学術知と実践知を融合した実践的学びを体験する。Students will engage in experiential learning by connecting theories of Japanese language and culture with practice.
2) 日本社会の慣習・マナー・礼儀等を学び、地域学校・地域行政・地域団体・地域企業と協力する体験を持つ。Students learn customs, manners and courtesy in Japan, and experience how to cooperate with local school, local government, local organizations, and local industry.
3) 地域学校・地域行政との協同学習を通じ、異文化間インタラクションを体験するとともに、プレゼンテーションョン力をつける。
Experience intercultural interactions and develop presentation skills by working with local school and local government.
4) 文化多様性を背景に持つ多国籍の留学生インターンが協力し,プロジェクトを企画・実践する力をつける。
Students learn to cooperate with students from various cultures to plan and carry out the project.

**地域学校・行政機関・企業と調整するため，スケジュールは変更となることがある。Schedule can be changed since it needs to be arranged with local school, local government, and local industry, etc.
 IMPORTANT: Glocal Internship I: Intercultural Competence in Japanese Society 「グローカル・インターンシップI : 日本社会における異文化間能力」(英語)を秋学期に同時に受講すること。Students are required to register for the “Glocal Internship I: Intercultural Competence in Japanese Society” together. Taking this basic course is prerequisite to acquire basic understanding.
 日本語レベル：レベル４または５（日本語上級）またはレベル３（日本語中級）の学生
It is required that students have acquired “Advanced level (level 4 or 5)” or "Intermediate level (Level 3) " of Japanese language proficiency”.
 レベル1または2の学生で受講希望の学生は相談すること。Please consult with the lecturer if students in Japanese Level 1 or 2 wish to take this course (Practicum).
 1) 「インターンシップ・プレースメントテスト」・2) 「面接試験」（第１回目の授業で行う）を必ず受けてください（現時点でのレベルの確認）。テストを受験した留学生のみ受講可能。Students are required to take 1) Internship Placement Test, and 2) Interview Test (Purpose : Check your level) conducted in the 1st Week.　
 試験結果は、試験後2日以内に発表する。Test result is to be announced within 2 days.
 学外の行政・学校と協働する実習を行うため、真剣に臨む態度がある学生のみ受講可。Serious attitudes are required. Intern students work with local government and school.
 ＊市役所・企業等への交通費がかかる場合は,交通費は自己負担とする。
 ＊行政・学校と関わるため,本実習の履修者はスーツを用意すること。実習はスーツまたはフォーマルな服装で参加すること。

成績評価の基準等全体評価 (Assessment)

地域社会を学ぶフィールドワーク　（Fieldwork to Study Local Society and School）
◎「地域公開国際セミナー」プレゼンテーション
「地域の課題の解決に向けた提案」　（Proposal to Solve the Issues in Local Society）
地域社会における地域活性化の方策について、地域行政とともに考える場を持つ。
日本社会が抱える課題を学び、そこで生きる外国人としての自助支援にもつなげる。
＊プロジェクト:　
地域創生・地域行政の観光の問題を聞き、問題を分析し、改善に向けた提案を行う。
