| 授業の目標・概要等 |
In Anthropology of Health I & II, we will explore how to use the methods and theories of ethnography to understand issues related to the human experience of health and illness in the contemporary world.
Students are required to take Anthropology of Health I & II simultaneously. Course I mainly delivers lectures, while Course II centers on discussions.
※ Anthropology of Health I と Anthropology of Health II は、必ず同時に受講して下さい。 |

Weeks 2 and 3: Ethnographies of medical anthropology
Week 4: Health, gender, and sexuality
Week 5: What is toxic about masculinity?
Week 6: Feminist perspectives on health and illness

Week 8: Discussion
