The Global Learning Center, which opened on the third floor of the West Library on Friday, October 10, 2025, provides students with opportunities to improve their English through the Self-Access Learning Center (SALC).
SALC sessions are produced by Tatsukawa-sensei, who taught and conducted research for many years at Hiroshima University’s Institute for Foreign Language Research and Education. With a focus on speaking, the sessions are offered at two levels: Beginner to Intermediate and Intermediate to Advanced. By joining sessions led by students with study-abroad experience and international students, participants can develop practical English skills in an environment where they can listen to and speak English.
Why not make English a part of your daily life and make your university experience even more fulfilling?
Whether you are considering studying abroad, hope to work internationally in the future, or simply lack confidence in your English, everyone is welcome!
Take this opportunity to build on what you have learned and further develop your English skills.
Taking that first step can open up new possibilities for your future. Come and give it a try!
