【対象/ Eligible Student】①本学に在籍する大学院生 ②英語による討議に参加する意欲のある方（原則TOEIC680点相当以上） ③原則としてセミナーの全行事に参加できる方 ＊留学生も参加できます。
(1) Graduate student currently enrolled at HU (2) Motivated to join discussions in English (TOEIC 680+ recommended) (3) Must be able to attend the entire program *International students are also welcome

【コース概要/Course Overview】
　世界の物流の約9割が海上輸送に依存しており、海は私たちの生活や経済活動に不可欠です。しかし、気候変動や資源管理、持続可能な経済活動など、海に関わる課題は年々複雑化しています。
　こうした背景のもと、広島大学は文部科学省の大学の世界展開力強化事業「日・欧州の海洋経済安全保障と持続可能性を支えるAI次世代人材育成プログラム」に採択され、その一環として、EUの5つの連携大学の学生と共に学ぶサマーコースを開催します。
　本コースでは、海洋・海事分野におけるビッグデータとAIの活用事例を学び、AIを用いたデータ解析で新たなビジネスモデルの構築を目指します。講義、グループワーク、フィールドワークを通じて学び、最終的にはコンペ形式で成果を発表します。
　海洋・海事分野以外の学生も応募可能ですので、興味のある方、日本文化を紹介したり、EUの学生と積極的にコミュニケーションが取れる方の参加をお待ちしています。
　Approximately 90% of global logistics depend on maritime transport, making the oceans an essential part of our daily lives and economic activities. However, challenges related to the oceans, such as climate change, resource management, and sustainable economic activities, are becoming increasingly complex.
　Against this backdrop, Hiroshima University will host a summer course as part of the " Training program for Next Generation Leaders in AI in Maritime Economic Security and Sustainability," which was selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s "Program for Strengthening the Global Expansion Capacity of Universities."
　This summer course will focus on learning how big data and AI are applied in the maritime and ocean fields together with students from the EU. Through AI-based data analysis, participants will work to develop innovative business models. The program will include lectures, group work, and fieldwork, with a final competition to present the results.
　Students from fields other than maritime and ocean studies are also welcome to apply. We look forward to participants who are interested in learning, willing to introduce Japanese culture, and eager to engage in active communication with EU students.
