　広島大学では、令和2年1月から「キャンパス内全面禁煙」を実施しており、喫煙場所の廃止、禁煙区域のパトロール、禁煙補助薬の処方など、様々な取り組みを進めてきましたが、依然としてキャンパス周辺での喫煙やポイ捨てが確認されています。

　望まない受動喫煙を防止するために、キャンパス内全面禁煙にご協力ください。

Hiroshima University has been implementing a ““total smoking ban on campus” since January 2020, and has been taking various measures to enforce this, such as removing smoking areas, patrolling non-smoking areas, and prescribing smoking cessation medication. However, smoking and littering around the campus are still being observed.
In response to this, we have established the “Guidelines for Students, Faculty, and Staff regarding the Smoke-Free Campus Policy” and have also made partial revisions to the “Basic Policy regarding a Total Ban on Smoking on its Campuses”.
If there is no improvement in response to the guidance, we will consider taking disciplinary action.
This guidance will be implemented from April 2025.
*Please refer to the “Guidelines for Students, Faculty, and Staff regarding the Smoke-Free Campus Policy”.
The areas where smoking is prohibited include not only the campus grounds, but also the surrounding roads.
Please cooperate with the total ban on smoking on campus to prevent unwanted passive smoking.
