This lecture focuses on structured light, in which the spatial distributions of phase, amplitude, and polarization are controlled. In particular, it provides an overview ranging from fundamental concepts to advanced applications, with an emphasis on optical vortices and vector beams. Throughout the course, the aim is to develop an understanding of the roles that the structured light plays in optical measurement, optical manipulation, and quantum technologies. |
