Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Earth and planetary science is a typical interdisciplinary field with an extremely wide range of research targets and a wide variety of research methods based on geology, physics, chemistry, and biology. However, when students are conducting research on a specific theme, they tend to confine themselves to their own specialties in each laboratory. Based on the educational philosophy of "All-to-All," students summarize the results of their research at the beginning of the second year and give a presentation in front of all the faculty members of this program. The students will then write an interim report based on the comments they receive, and their primary and secondary supervisors will correct the report.
Class Schedule Two days in June and/or July are assigned for oral presentation.
Students must hand in the interim reports to their supervisers.
