/Class Outline
This course provides an overview of the observational properties of stars, which are the fundamental building blocks of the universe, and aims to develop a physical understanding of stellar properties and their temporal evolution. We discuss the ultimate fate of stars after their evolution. In addition, the course examines the properties of supernova explosions that occur at the end of the lives of some stars and seeks to understand them from a physical perspective. Through the study of supernova explosions, we discuss what kind of physical picture has been established regarding the final stages of stellar evolution.
