Class Objectives

This course aims to develop the specialized knowledge and research skills needed to conduct studies that contribute to solving issues related to home economics education (the dwelling life domain). Through reading academic literature, presentations, and discussions, students will enhance their ability to plan and carry out research as well as to develop learning materials. Focusing on dwelling life, students will read and examine international and domestic studies, discussing research backgrounds, methods, and findings. Each student will set an individual research topic and continuously advance their work toward synthesizing outcomes.
