Class Objective: To equip aspiring researchers with the skills necessary to independently plan, execute, and deliver research projects efficiently.

Class Summary: Students regularly meet with their academic advisor to review research progress. Depending on their stage of advancement, they participate in question-and-answer sessions, engage in discussions, and submit research findings. Students incorporate feedback from their supervisor, recommended advisors, and peers into their thesis writing. They consult their supervisor when preparing research findings for academic conferences and publications. The course is designed to support each student in realising their potential as an academic researcher and contributing to their field.

Preparation and
Review
Students are advised to write a brief progress report and literature review following the first session and to continue this practice throughout the course. Additionally, students should create a bibliography database and maintain a journal documenting the content of each supervisory session on a shared platform. Progress reports must be revised in response to supervisor feedback. A list of questions should be compiled and shared with the supervisor at least three days prior to each session. 
Requirements Students requiring special assistance are encouraged to contact their supervisor as early as possible, preferably before the first class. Reasonable accommodations will be arranged in consultation with the University’s Accessibility Centre. 
Grading Method Assessment methods include assignments, portfolios, team and individual presentations, and progress reports.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The supervisor and guest advisors possess extensive practical experience with media and international organisations, including the United Nations and the OECD. 
Message In the dissertation, students should clearly define the concept of 'peace' being addressed, considering its multifaceted and multi-layered dimensions.
