Goals
To understand the concept of “elements of claims,” which forms the backbone of civil litigation practice.
To learn how to identify the elements of claims in typical civil lawsuits.
To understand how argument structuring and fact‑finding are carried out based on the framework of elements of claims.
Overview
To achieve the above goals, the course will proceed through interactive Q&A based on assigned problems.

Using the following types of lawsuits as assignments, students will learn and apply the concept of elements of claims:
Action for payment of the purchase price
Action for repayment of a loan
Action for delivery of real property based on ownership
Action for real property registration procedures (based on ownership)
Action for real property registration procedures (defense based on title to maintain registration)
Action for delivery of real property based on termination of a lease
