Class Objectives
/Class Outline
The use of ICT in not only classroom space but also outside of classroom on school education is becoming increasingly important. In this class, basic research on spatial design using ICT in the field of mathematical and information science will be done with education theory for practical use in the background and non-pedagogical knowledge such as software including generative AI, hardware, and networks.
This class will be done from the viewpoint of mathematical science.
Class Schedule Lesson 1: ICT in everyday life and the current state of ICT in educational settings
Lesson 2: Comparing education without ICT and education utilizing ICT – theoretical perspective
Lesson 3: Comparing education without ICT and education utilizing ICT – practical/field perspective
Lesson 4: Educational theories specifically related to ICT integration
Lesson 5: ICT tools usable even by non-specialists – web programming and dynamic website development
Lesson 6: ICT tools usable even by non-specialists – web programming, 3D web design, game engines, and generative AI
Lesson 7: Hardware for AR, VR, and MR
Lesson 8: Collecting ICT-integration case studies and identifying “what is still missing”
Lesson 9: Proposals of ICT-enhanced mock lessons 1
Lesson 10: Proposals of ICT-enhanced mock lessons 2
Lesson 11: Proposals of ICT-enhanced mock lessons 3
Lesson 12: Proposals of ICT-enhanced mock lessons 4 (depending on the number of participants)
Lesson 13: Development work needed for the proposed lessons 1
Lesson 14: Development work needed for the proposed lessons 2
Lesson 15: Final review session – the future of spatial design with ICT

Any test will not be done.
