Class Objectives

This seminar aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for writing a master’s thesis in Civil Law (Family Law). Specific learning objectives include:
(1) Engage in close reading of specialized academic literature and summarize it effectively.
(2) Analyze judicial decisions and articulate their significance in relation to the legal issues at stake.
(3) Formulate research questions related to the chosen topic and structure the points for analysis.
(4) Acquire fundamental skills in academic writing. 
Class Schedule Session 1: Orientation; confirmation of research themes, directions, and research plans
Sessions 2–12: Progress reports on research and discussion
Sessions 13–14: Preparation for summarizing the semester’s research results
Session 15: Presentation of semester research results
