In this class, we will explore the connections between literature, theory, and interdisciplinary studies. Through the collection of critical essays, Making Kin Not Population: Reconceiving Generations (2018), this course introduces the concepts and the historical background and development of specific theories and interdisciplinary approaches related to feminism, anti-racism, environmental justice, reproductive justice, kinship, and global inequality among others.
