By reading pre-Qin philosophical texts through the method of classical Chinese kundoku, students will acquire advanced skills for interpreting Chinese philosophical literature. This term, we will read the ‘Xingshi’ chapter of the Guanzi along with the commentary known as the Xingshi Jie. |
