Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Objectives: This course aims to deepen understanding of systemic management in dental practice, with particular emphasis on respiratory and circulatory physiology, the safety of sedation and anesthesia, and airway management. In addition, students will explore recent developments in biological signal monitoring and non-contact sensing technologies used during dental treatment, and consider how clinical practice can be integrated with research.
Overview: Students will review literature related to their own research topics, organize the content, and present their findings. Through discussion, they will examine the background, methodology, and interpretation of research studies in order to develop the ability to critically evaluate scientific work. Research progress will also be shared, and students will discuss study design and data handling. |
