Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Based on the professional background and career goals of individual students, this course targets internships abroad in private companies, international organizations, NGOs, and government agencies. In addition to improving advanced practical language skills, students will deepen their practical understanding of cross-cultural leadership and decision-making processes. The program also aims to support career development with a global perspective by providing insight into business etiquette, characteristics of the working environment, and problem-solving processes in specialized fields in different cultures. 
Class Schedule This course is an off-campus internship at an international organization or company in overseas, etc. The internship is conducted in accordance with the program of the host organization and based on the Internship Implementation Plan (Host organization, region, duration, content of internship, supervisor, contact information, etc.) prepared by the student.
One credit is given for a practical training period of one week (30 hours of actual work) or more, and two credits for two weeks (60 hours of actual work) or more. Maximum 2 credits are granted.

Off-campus practical training courses. Please obtain sufficient information about the host organization in advance. 
Requirements Students are required to submit the following documents to the Global Management Group, International Office.

Within one week after the start of the internship (for students seeking 1 credit) or within two weeks (for students seeking 2 credits), students must submit:
① Internship Implementation Plan (prescribed format, to be prepared in English). Students should conduct sufficient research on the host organization and related matters before completing the plan.

Within one month after the completion of the internship, students must submit the following documents:
② Internship Report (free format, at least 4 A4 pages, written in English or Japanese. Instructions for preparation will be provided.)
③ Certificate of Completion issued by the host organization (signed).

Submission of documents in PDF format is recommended. 
Grading Method Evaluation will be conducted based on the Internship Report, the Certificate of Completion issued by the host organization, and the comments of the academic supervisor.

Academic credit will be awarded as follows:

1 credit for internships lasting at least one week (minimum 30 working hours)
2 credits for internships lasting at least two weeks (minimum 60 working hours)
A maximum of 2 credits may be awarded.

Grades will be evaluated using a five-point grading scale.

Other Registration for this course in MyMomiji will be conducted by the Global Management Group, International Office. Therefore, students are not required to register for the course themselves.
