Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This course aims to build on the knowledge and skills of Japanese acquired at the foundational stage and to develop comprehensive basic Japanese proficiency—equivalent to the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 level—including both spoken and written Japanese. The specific objectives are as outlined in the “Learning Outcomes” above.
To achieve these goals, the course introduces a variety of topics in each unit. Through engaging in diverse language activities centered on these topics, students will expand their Japanese vocabulary, sentence patterns, and grammatical knowledge, enhance their conversation management skills, and develop fundamental reading and writing abilities. The topics covered and the language points emphasized are as indicated in the course schedule. |
