To develop Reading comprehension skills (the ability to listen to lectures and oral presentations). To understand main points and outline and structure of the content. With training of reading skills, it leads to the development of comprehensive Japanese language skills.

Preview…Shadowing and watching videos of the section to be studied. Submit the
     assigned work before the presentation.
Review…Practice shadowing the lessons studied. Understand new vocabulary and
     expressions. After the lesson, submit the review sheet.  
Requirements ・Students with level 5 or above as per the placement test and are not native speakers of Japanese. Students cannot enroll in classes Level 4 or below.
・Students are required to attend 2 lessons; both Japanese Listening A-1 & A-2.
 
Grading Method Participation to tasks (such as group discussions, short presentations) in lessons 50%,  Final Report Assignment 30%, quizzes 20%
