In this course, essential skills required to play an active role in society—such as communication skills and stress management—will be explained, accompanied by practical exercises to acquire these skills.

/Class Outline
In order to enrich university life and play an active role in society, students need the ability to think and act independently and proactively, as well as to address and solve problems when facing challenges. This includes abilities such as communication skills, active listening skills, and stress control capabilities. It is important to continuously improve these skills not only during university but also after entering society.
The purpose of this lecture is for students to recognize the importance of these abilities, understand the required skills and useful methods, and learn how to enhance them. By incorporating appropriate practical exercises to deepen students' understanding, this course aims to lead to continuous skill development.

 Structural theory, developmental theory, decision-making theory
Session 3: Abilities Required in Society and Work (1)
 Explanation of necessary abilities in society and companies using "Fundamental Competencies for Working Adults" as an example
Session 4: Abilities Required in Society and Work (2)
 Skill development
Session 5: Communication Skills Required in Society (1)
 Linguistic understanding of communication, paralanguage, and non-verbal information
Session 6: Communication Skills Required in Society (2)
 Exercises on non-verbal elements
Session 7: Communication Skills Required in Society (3)
 Active listening
Session 8: Communication Skills Required in Society (4)
 Exercises on active listening techniques
Session 9: Stress Management (1)
 Explanation of stress and stress management

 Meditative movement methods, overcoming feelings of like and dislike

 Awareness of breathing and breathing techniques, releasing attachments and preoccupations

 Meditation techniques, coping with anxiety

 Fulfilling one's duties and roles rather than acting on likes and dislikes; the concept of "Zengo-saidan" (living in the present moment)
