Expected Outcome １．A well-balanced understanding of various social barriers to learning, along with support techniques, skills, and technologies to overcome them, can be acquired.
２．Support skills such as summary transcription (handwriting, typing, and voice input), guide assistance (mobility support, sighted guide techniques, and wheelchair assistance), Braille transcription, audio transcription, and subtitle creation can be learned.
３．Communication skills, including finger spelling, Japanese Sign Language adapted for spoken Japanese (basic daily conversation), and the clock position method, will also be developed.

Class Objectives
/Class Outline １．The goal is to experientially understand the locations of social barriers to learning related to visual impairment, hearing/language impairment, physical disabilities, internal disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental illness, etc., and to acquire support skills and communication skills such as summary note-taking, guide assistance, braille translation, and Japanese sign language to support the learning of students with disabilities.
２．Overview: Every week, students will attend one session of "Basic Training" where experienced instructors in practical settings directly teach support techniques such as summary note-taking, sign language, guide assistance, and braille translation. Overview: In addition, students will practice on-demand assignments related to understanding disabilities and acquiring support skills through Moodle in "Individual Training." Students can also prioritize attending the "Sign Language Workshop," which is scheduled to be held on Saturdays (in week 7).

Requirements 1. Some activities require listening comprehension and note-taking in Japanese.
2. When attending classes via Microsoft Teams, please participate in an environment where you can turn on both your camera and microphone.
3.The Week 2 basic skill training will be conducted either during the 3rd period on Tuesday or the 3rd period on Wednesday via Teams, or through recorded lectures on Moodle.
4. During Week 1, you must complete the free-period registration.
If the free-period registration is not completed by the deadline, you may be unable to attend the Teams sessions from Weeks 3 to 7.
5. The basic skill training in Weeks 3 to 6 will be conducted alternately (every other week) between: Live, synchronous Teams sessions held in the time slots assigned based on your registered free periods, and On-demand Moodle sessions using recorded materials.
6. The Week 7 basic skill training will be offered in a blended format, consisting of:
45 minutes of a Teams session, and
45 minutes of a Moodle-based session.
