Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Metal prostheses (crowns, bridges, and dentures) are individually handcrafted using the lost-wax metal casting technique, in which wax patterns are created, invested, and then cast. Through practical exercises, students will acquire knowledge of the theory, procedures, and associated challenges of the lost-wax metal casting method widely used in clinical practice. |
