Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Students master the essential synthetic knowledge and problem solving ability, teamwork ability to practice patient-centered dentistry and oral care. Students acquire the medical technology involved a diagnosis, drafting of a treatment plan, treatment of basics and so on from the holistic. Furthermore, the aim of this practice is students establish the base of a clinic to play an instructive role for a development of dentistry in the future. This course involves the practical observation and chearside teaching. 1. Practical observation: Students learn mental attitude and techniques etc. to apply knowledge and technique to the patient. In addition, students learn it about cooperation with a pharmacist, a nurse, a dental hygienist. 2. Chearside teaching: Students learn the knowledge and the way of thinking, and medical technique that are necessary for dentist by the clinic. In some cases, students perform the dental treatment or assistance for patients |
