Students will learn the fundamentals and ethics of counselling. They will create role-play scenarios based on common situations experienced by nursing professionals, and take part in role-plays and discussions to gain hands-on experience of nursing counselling.

 Search for and read literature on counselling. Apply what you learn to case studies, role-plays and discussions. 
Requirements  
Grading Method  Case studies and role-playing: 50%; assignment-based learning (reports): 50%. 
Practical Experience  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it  
Message Assignment 1: Create one or two case studies that can be summarised in 5–6 lines and written up on one A4 page.
For Assignment 2, conduct a role play based on the case studies you have developed. Reflect on the results and write a report. The report should be approximately two A4 pages long.
