/Class Outline
This course aims to help students understand the purpose, functions, and significance of social security. Students will learn about specific systems such as social insurance, public assistance, and social welfare programs. Furthermore, students will study cases of individuals requiring some form of social support in contemporary Japanese society, drawing on existing research, and consider the social initiatives needed to address these needs.
