The participants of this course are expected to answer the question "what can we do to realize a more peaceful society?" and develop a tolerant attitude to others by comparing the discourses on war and peace of Students who take this course will examine how the Minamata Disease Museum narrates the history and meaning of Minamata. Through this inquiry, they will develop their own responses to the question, “What should we do, and how, to realize a more peaceful society?” and cultivate dispositions and attitudes of tolerance toward others.
