Class Objectives
/Class Outline This class will provide students some a concrete understanding of outline of Japanese archeology, palaeolithic age, Jomon age, Yayoi age, Kofun age, and historical age.

Class Schedule Class 1; Whats the archeology? Purpose of the archaeology.
Class 2; Division into periods and methodology（typology).
Class 3; Division into periods and methodology (dating method).
Class 4; Palaeoanthropology and stone age culture.
Class 5; Geographical environment and natural disasters of the Japanese archipelago
Class 6; Palaeoanthropology and stone age culture in
Japanese Archiperago.
Class 7; From the Stone age to the Jomon period.
Class 8; Research into the Jomon period through physical and chemical analysis.
Class 9; Outline of the Yayoi period.
Class 10; Bronze mirrors from the Han Dynasty in China and the Yayoi society.
Class 11; Bronze and iron tools in Yayoi society
Class 12; Yayoi burial mounds and Kofun mounded tombs.
Class 13; From the Yayoi period to the Kofun period.
Class 14; Outline of the Kofun period, international rellations in the East Asia.
Class 15; Outline of the Kofun period, ancient state formation.
