This course aims to cultivate a foundational understanding of Japanese history while teaching the basic methodologies of historical research. By investigating topics such as transportation, finance, war, policy, and historical figures, students will engage with the latest research trends and acquire practical skills in historical study. |

Lesson 1 Lecture: What Is Studied in Japanese Historical Studies? Students choose a research topic, set a theme, and consult the instructor on the direction and scope of their investigation.
