Class Objectives /Class Outline Students will examine language use within social frameworks and learn key theories and concepts related to communication. Through this course, students will develop an understanding of sociolinguistic factors and related concepts in English communication, enabling them to interpret speakers’ and writers’ intentions accurately and effectively.

Students are required to submit pre- and post-class homework. 
Requirements Requirements Since the content of “Introduction to Sociolinguistics II” is based on “Introduction to Sociolinguistics I,” it is recommended that students take both courses. As this course includes substantial group work, regular attendance is strongly recommended.
