/Class Outline The scope of this course encompasses research and theories on acquisition and learning naturalistically and/or with the aid of formal instruction, as adult learners in both second and foreign language settings. We will continuously explore the SLA phenomena, focusing on L2 learner psychology and social ideology in this course.

Requirements 1. Foreign Language Acquisition & Communication I is prerequisite to take this course.
2. Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency might be necessary since students must read and understand professional journals written and carry class discussion in English (approximately over TOEIC 550).
