・Critical reading of others’ work is essential for improving your own writing, expression, and reading comprehension skills. To achieve Objective (1) of this course, you should prepare your presentations carefully and consistently, read your peers’ drafts (distributed in advance of each class) attentively, and, where appropriate, consult relevant literature and prepare thoughtful questions for discussion.

・Unexcused absences are not permitted.
・Students who arrive more than 20 minutes after the start of class will be marked absent (although they may still attend the session).
