Early transition metals such as W, Mo, and V form metal oxide clusters so called "Polyoxometalate". Synthesis and characterization of polyoxometalates, especially polyoxovanadates and their applications as adsorption materials, catalysis materials, proton-conductive materials, and host-guest materials will be presented.
