/Class Outline
[Aims]
1) Acquire basic knowledge to explain real legal phenomena from outside the framework of the current legal system and actual jurisprudence.
2) To be able to analyze real legal phenomena based on basic knowledge of legal theory.
3) To be able to relativize the current legal system and examine it from a critical perspective.

[Overview]
Jurisprudence is the study of law and jurisprudence in principle. In this lecture, we will examine the concept and nature of law, as well as the principles and values of law. The first eight classes will deal with the question of how the law is, and the remaining classes will discuss themes related to the question of how the law should be.
Through consideration of various issues in legal theory, the aim is to acquire the ability to analyze and criticize actual legal practice from a perspective different from that of actual jurisprudence.
