This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of research methods. It covers a range of topics essential to understanding and conducting research effectively. Students will gain the skills and knowledge needed to design their studies, collect and analyze data, and write research papers. |

Week 1: Orientation Introduction to key research elements - Literature review, research gap and 0bjective - Treatment/ explanatory/ independent variables - Outcome/ explained/ dependent variables - Unit of analysis - Sampling, sample size, data - Identification strategies/ data analysis methods - Expected results - hypothesis
